The Lenape Challenge is the area's premiere adventure race experience that combines 5 miles of trail runnin' and root jumpin' with 2.5 miles of creek rippin', paddle splittin' fun!

The 2025 race is back on the Perkiomen Creek!

The 2025 course starts at the Conservancy's Headquarters and takes you on a romp over hill and dale around Pennypacker Mills and on to the Perkiomen Trail. You'll race through Schwenksville then up and over Spring Mount. After a leg-bucklin' decent you'll dive into a boat for a shoulder-bustin', hull-spilittin' paddle down the Perkiomen Creek. The race finishes with a dash over the line at Red Fox Park!!

**All finishers receive a finisher medal, free brew, snacks and a race tee (if registered before April 11th).

EVENT DETAILS

Solo Challenge:

This option is for anyone looking to conquer the Challenge as an individual.
All Solo Challengers will paddle a kayak for the on-water portion of the race
All Solo Challengers MUST be 18+ years old to participate

Team "Double" Challenge:

The Team "Double" Challenge is a two-person team event... meaning... you must have a teammate!!
The on-water portion of the race will take place in canoes
Both team members must be 18+ years old on race day to participate
For the team challenge, you will be registering and paying for both team members at the same time. For this, you will need to know your teammate's email, age and t-shirt size. Registration is complete once team registration has been completed.
Overall Race Guidelines
Again, all participants MUST be 18+ in order to participate in the Lenape Challenge!
Pre-registration is required. There are no "day-of" registrations. The Challenge sells out every year, so don't wait!
For the Team Challenge, only ONE person from your team has to register as you will be registering for and paying for your TEAM, not individual tickets.
Kayak or Canoe, paddle(s) and life jacket are provided as part of your registration. All you need is a pair of running shoes!
Please Note: The Foul Weather Date for the Lenape Challenge is Sunday, April 27th. Please make sure you are available for this date as well since we can't offer refunds if the event is moved to April 27th.
